Terms of service

This site is operated by Rip 'em All (123 Placeholder St., City, ST 00000, United States), trading as Rip 'em All. “We” and “us” mean that business; “you” means whoever is using the site.

Our shipping policy, return policy and privacy policy are part of these terms.

You need to be 18 or older to place an order, or have a parent or guardian place it for you. By ordering you confirm the payment method is yours to use and the address you gave us is real.

An order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The sale happens when we accept it — in practice, when we ship it. Until then we can decline or cancel any order and refund you in full. We’d only do that for a real reason: no stock, a pricing error, a payment we can’t verify, an address we can’t ship to, or an order that breaks the limits below.

Prices and product details can be wrong. Software has bugs and people make typos. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we’ll cancel and refund rather than honour it — we’ll always tell you before we do.

We exist because a handful of people buy everything and sit on it. So: every product has a per-order limit, and we will cancel and refund orders placed to corner an allocation.

• Each product page shows the maximum quantity per order. That limit is enforced at checkout.
• We may also cancel and refund orders that clearly work around it — repeat orders to one address or from one card beyond what a person would keep, orders placed by scripts or bots, or orders we have good reason to believe are for resale.
• Where we cancel for this reason, you get a full refund. We keep nothing.
• During high-demand drops we may set a tighter per-customer limit. It'll be stated on the product page before you buy.

We know this is a judgement call and we’d rather explain it than hide it. If we get it wrong about you, write to us and we’ll sort it out.

Prices are in US dollars and don’t include shipping or sales tax, which are added at checkout before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe under their terms; we never receive or store your card details.

Card payments are charged when you place the order, including on pre-orders — see below.

• A pre-order is charged when you place it. That's what secures your unit of a limited allocation.
• You can cancel any time before it ships, for a full refund. No reason needed.
• Release dates are set by the manufacturer and do move. If one does, we’ll email you and you can wait or cancel.
• Allocations get cut. If ours is cut and we can’t fill your order, we refund you in full — we won’t hold your money against a box that isn’t coming.

We ship to the United States only. Full detail — timing, cost, signature requirements and what happens to a lost package — is in the shipping policy, and we stand behind it: report a problem within 7 days of delivery and we’ll replace or refund the order.

Sealed product is final sale once delivered. Merch can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Damaged, wrong and missing items are always covered. The return policy explains all three and why.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that can’t be signed away.

The price database is information, not an offer, not an appraisal, and not investment advice.

Set lists, card images and market prices across this site come from third-party sources and are cached and refreshed periodically. They can be stale, incomplete or wrong, and a price shown for a card is not a price we’re offering to buy or sell at — we don’t sell single cards.

Sealed product contents, artwork and release dates are as published by the manufacturer and can change before release. Decisions you make about buying, selling, holding or grading cards are yours alone.

Don’t:

• Use bots, scripts or automated tools to place orders or hoover up stock. This is the whole reason we're here — doing it on our site gets your order cancelled.
• Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people.
• Break into, probe or interfere with the site, its checkout or anyone else's order.
• Resell our merch designs or reproduce our artwork commercially.

The Rip 'em All name, logo, artwork and site design are ours. You’re welcome to link to us and to post photos of what you pulled.

Pokémon and all related names, card images and trademarks belong to The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them, or by TCGplayer. We’re a shop and a database, nothing more.

The site is provided as-is. We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date, and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim implied warranties about the site and its data. Products themselves come with whatever manufacturer warranty applies to them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to an order or to this site is limited to what you paid us for the order it relates to. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost resale value, or the market moving while a package was in transit.

This doesn’t limit liability for fraud, or for anything that can’t be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts located there, and we both agree to that.

We can update these terms; the date at the top tells you when we last did. Changes apply to orders placed after they’re posted — whatever was on the page when you ordered is what governs that order.
